TV4 dares to win with SAS adaptation

Sweden willl be the sixth territory to air a version of SAS: Who Dares Wins

Swedish broadcaster TV4 has commissioned a local version of UK survival format SAS: Who Dares Wins, from local Banijay-owned production company Jarowskij.

The eight-part series, based on the Channel 4 original and titled Elitstyrkans Hemligheter (The Secrets of the Elite Force), will see 18 contestants undergo a special forces boot camp.

Banijay holds the international rights to Who Dares Wins, which was created by UK prodco Minnow Films.

Sweden is the sixth market to launch the format after the UK, US, France, Australia and Denmark.

Denmark has already produced three seasons and will air a celebrity version this year, to be produced by Mastiff Denmark, also a Banijay company.
