TV4 alum Elin Kvist hired as VP and creative director of Sweden’s Yellow Bird

Former TV4 and FLX executive Elin Kvist has been appointed VP/creative director at Banijay Nordic-backed Swedish prodco Yellow Bird (Headhunters).

Starting her new role in January 2024, Kvist is tasked with helping to elevate Yellow Bird’s scripted slate both in Sweden and internationally.

She joins from Stockholm-based FLX, where she held the post of head of drama, working on shows such as Dark Heart, Blinded and Suburbia.

Prior to that, Kvist spent six years at Swedish broadcaster TV4, rising to become head of development, drama.

Kvist said: “I’m incredibly excited to join Yellow Bird, which has always been a strong producer of high-quality and impactful drama in the Nordics.

“Whilst there is a lot happening in our industry, the company is well-positioned to continue creating powerful series and films, and to further ramp up the collaboration with the international creative community.”
