TV-Loonland calls at La Station

TV-Loonland has picked up worldwide distribution rights across all media to Mister Otter (52×90″) from French boutique studio La Station Animation.

A coproduction with French terrestrial broadcaster France 3, the series is animated in 3D and is set for full delivery in April.

Each episode explores a different historical theme or question, such as how were French fries invented or what were the origins of the microwave oven.

TV-Loonland MD Olivier Dumont said the show “will be the perfect compliment to our line-up and, most importantly, those of our clients.

“These bite-sized and highly entertaining cultural curiosities are a delightful way to learn, and judging solely by the enthusiastic response the show received at Forum Cartoon in fall 2008, we think the show will follow the success of our most recent brands.”
