TV Globo enters Underground City in documentary series from Endemol Shine Brasil

Underground City (Cidade Subterrânea) was created by Endemol Shine Brasil

Brazil’s TV Globo has ordered a docu-reality series offering an immersive look into São Paulo’s subway system.

Underground City (Cidade Subterrânea) captures the fast-paced operations that keep the unseen world of São Paulo’s subway system running, alongside the personal stories of its passengers.

The series will premiere on pay TV channel GNT and VoD platform Globoplay, and will also air on TV Globo’s news programme Fantástico.

The original format is directed by Eduardo Rajabally and created by Endemol Shine Brasil, part of Banijay Americas.
