Turkish sale for Femme Fatales

A Turkish pay-TV channel has picked up rights to seasons one and two of Femme Fatales, a noir-style mystery series inspired by the US magazine of the same name.

Sinema TV has licensed the Turkish rights and HBO Latin America has also picked up both seasons of the show, which airs on HBO-owned Cinemax in the US and is distributed by Entertainment One (eOne).

The show has previously been acquired by Sky Italia; Muz TV in Russia; TVN Turbo Channel in Poland; Movie Central/Movie Network in Canada; and Orion TV in South Korea.

The series is exec produced by co-creators Mark Altman (Castle) and Steve Kriozere (NCIS), as well as Mark Gottwald (DOA: Dead or Alive). David Williams, the published of Femme Fatales magazine, is co-exec producer. The half-hour anthology series features stories inspired by film noir.

eOne handles the broadcast and digital distribution outside of North America and is bringing the show to MipTV, where members of the cast and crew will celebrate the international launch of Femme Fatales’ second season.
