Turkish drama Hicran finds a home in Spain

Turkish drama series Hicran is heading to Mediaset España

NEWS BRIEF: Mediaset España, parent company of Spanish broadcasters Telecinco and Cuatro, has picked up Turkish drama series Hicran, following a deal with Istanbul-based distributor Inter Medya.

The series airs on Kanal D in Turkey and Romania and is the first daily drama produced as part of a multi-year coproduction agreement between Inter Medya and Hispanic broadcaster Telemundo in the US. The show, produced by Filmevi, centres on a woman (played by Elçin Zehra Irem) who unknowingly become the babysitter to her missing daughter (played by Nisa Sofiya Aksongur).
