Turkey’s Nightfall descends on Panama’s TVN following ATV Distribution deal

CONTENT AMERICAS: Panama’s TVN has acquired the broadcast rights to Turkish drama The Nightfall (aka Bir Gece Masalı) in a deal with Istanbul-based ATV Distribution.

Starring Burak Deniz and Su Burcu Yazgı Coskun, The Nightfall tells “a gripping tale of secrets, betrayal and human complexity,” according to ATV, and will soon be available to TVN viewers in Panama.

The deal for the show was announced by the two companies here at Content Americas in Miami.

“We are thrilled to expand the international footprint of The Nightfall with TVN in Panama,” said Muge Akar, head of sales at ATV Distribution. “This partnership is a significant step in our ongoing efforts to bring high-quality Turkish drama to Latin American audiences.

“Content Americas has once again proven to be a key platform for establishing valuable connections with major industry players, and we are confident that The Nightfall will be a major success in Panama.

The show is produced by New Generation Media. The storyline follows a man who returns to the city where his father was assassinated 20 years ago to work as a police inspector, determined to avenge his father’s death.
