This week on C21FM we heard from C21 editorial director Ed Waller, news editor Clive Whittingham and Drama Quarterly editor Michael Pickard about the latest trends and issues shaping the international TV marketplace as the virtual MipTV 2021 got underway online.

We also heard from ViacomCBS International Studios Distribution head of formats Laura Burrell about her expectations of this week’s virtual MipTV, plus a number of new deals hot off the press, while Blue Ant International senior VP of coproductions and sales Ludo Dufour discussed how local and global streamers are changing the landscape for programme sales.

The C21FM Weekly Review Show also includes a chat with Keshet International’s Kelly Wright and Passion Distribution’s Tom Burton about the rise of local SVoD services and the alternatives they present to programme sellers and producers as global players proliferate.
