This week on C21FM we heard from actor Jimmy Akingbola, host of UK comedy panel gameshow Sorry I Didn’t Know, and creators Minnie and Fraser Ayres about their bold ITV format focused on black history, showcasing comedians who rarely feature in such programmes.

We also spoke to Kris Thykier, founder of Archery Pictures and exec producer of Sky Atlantic drama Riviera, about the challenges of bringing back multi-territory shoots and Ananey CEO Orly Atlas Katz about ViacomCBS’s acquisition of the Israeli pay TV group.

The C21FM Weekly Review Show also includes showrunner Adi Hasak speaking about his new single-location drama, which is partly a response to the spiralling production costs he says are crippling the industry, and Wildflame head of international Llinos Griffin-Williams about building an overseas copro strategy in a pandemic.

Rounding out this week’s C21FM interviews we hear from former Bristow Global Media CEO Julie Bristow about her new investment vehicle focused on female stories and storytellers and from Warehouse 51 Productions/West One International founder Carl Hall, who considers how the pandemic has shaken up the distribution business.

All of this, together with a mix of music to keep you sane. Thanks for listening.
