Co-founders Ed Louwerse and Julian Curtis were among those in Cannes last week for the return of Mipcom after a two-year hiatus and spoke to Ed Waller about how the market has changed in the interim and the trends they see to be coming out of it.

Chris Philip is president of Starlings Television, the division set up two years ago by US film financing and production company Starlings Entertainment. The unit is behind drama series including Pandora for The CW and Departure for NBCUniversal’s Peacock.

Philip was also in Cannes last week for Mipcom where he spoke to us about how the business has navigated the pandemic and the way the industry has shifted in the meantime, particularly with the proliferation of streamers.
