Tumblr catches AMC drama

NEWS BRIEF: US cablenet AMC has partnered with social media platform Tumblr for the launch of its upcoming drama Halt and Catch Fire, making it the first TV series to premiere on the website.

The first episode of the series, which focuses on the dawn of personal computing, will be available on Tumblr, AMC.com and on various VoD platforms from May 19 for two weeks prior to airing on AMC on June 1.
