True crime doc Secrets of the Interrogation Room heads to Bell Media’s Crave

Canada’s Bell Media has acquired true-crime docuseries Secrets of the Interrogation Room, presented by actress Vivica A Fox (Missing).

The 10×60’ US version of the series, made by London-based Zig Zag Productions for A+E Networks’ Crime + Investigation and Filmrise, will be streamed on Bell Media’s Crave SVoD platform.

The UK version of the same show, fronted by Robert Rinder, has been picked up by AMC Networks International for Spain and Portugal.

Singapore-based distributor Bomanbridge Media announced the sales, along with other deals made following last week’s MipTV in Cannes.

In the Middle East, MBC’s streaming platform Shahid has bought 1×60’ football documentary A Game of Secrets (Drive & Wingman for HBO Max); plus six-part crime series Murderous History, by London-based Warehouse 51 Productions.

Discovery Asia and SBS Australia have both picked up 1×60’ documentary Children of Shanghai, narrated by adventurer Bear Grylls; while Discovery Asia has bought a 25-hour wildlife package; and Korea’s OBS has secured a 30-hour factual content deal.

In the Philippines, GMA has acquired Wild Dynasties (3×60’, West One International) and Africa’s Deadliest seasons four and five (6×60’, Earth Touch). Finally, Thailand’s TrueVisions has picked up Marcus Wareing’s Tales from a Kitchen Garden (10×30’, Plimsoll Productions) and My Garden of a Thousand Bees (1×60’, Passion Pictures).
