Toon2Tango joins S2 of animated kids’ series Monster Loving Maniacs as coproducer

Monster Loving Maniacs is in production for a second season

Leonine Animation Studios’ Toon2Tango in Germany, part of Mediawan Kids and Family, has joined the second season of animated kids’ series Monster Loving Maniacs as a coproducer.

Toon2Tango acted as the worldwide distributor for season one of the adventure-comedy series, which will now be distributed by Mediawan Kids & Family after it integrated Toon2Tango’s content portfolio into its own earlier this year. https://www.c21media.net/news/mediawan-kids-family-adds-german-studio-toon2tangos-shows-to-its-sales-catalogue/

Monster Loving Maniacs is also coproduced by Ja Film and Ginger Pictures, and was commissioned by Germany’s Super RTL, DR in Denmark, NRK in Norway, Sweden’s SVT, Iceland’s RUV and the BBC in the UK.

Production of season two (52×11’) is underway with a target completion date of late 2026. The series is written and directed by creators Anders Berthelsen and Rune Christensen, the co-founders of Ja Film.
