Toon Grabouillon gets dedicated YouTube channel from Blue Spirit, Newen Digital

The Grabouillon channel will launch on Monday

Newen Studios-owned French animation studio Blue Spirit and Newen Digital, the group’s digital development and distribution arm, will launch a YouTube channel dedicated to cartoon series Grabouillon next week.

Grabouillon, based on the comics of the same name, is produced by Blue Spirit and distributed by Newen Connect. The new channel will go live on June 12 to tie in with the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

Each week, it will add two episodes and one compilation video from the series, which centres on a clumsy dog and a well-behaved little girl. The channel will also offer bonus features and themed episodes.

It comes after the launch of Newen Digital in April, with the new division dedicated to distributing its content via AVoD platforms and free ad-supported TV.
