Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren to lead cast in Guy Ritchie Paramount+ series

Hollywood actors Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren have been cast in the lead roles of Guy Ritchie’s upcoming organised crime drama series for Paramount+.

The series, which had previously been titled The Donovans and then The Associate, is currently in production with Showtime, MTV Entertainment and 101 Studios. It will debut globally in 2025.

The plot centres around two warring families in London whose enterprises stretch to all corners of the globe and the fiercely loyal ‘fixer’ charged with protecting one of them at all costs.

Earlier this year, Showtime said the series was loosely based on crime drama Ray Donovan, following the conclusion of that series.

Ritchie and Hardy are exec producing the series with Ronan Bennett, Keith Cox, Nina L Diaz, David C Glasser, Jez Butterworth, Kris Thykier, Ivan Atkinson, Dean Baker, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin and Bob Yari.
