Tobias Schulze elevated to senior VP of global sales at Seven.One Studios International

Germany’s Seven.One Studios International has promoted international media and sales executive Tobias Schulze to the newly created role of senior VP of global sales.

Based in Munich, Schulze will be responsible for leading Seven.One’s sales team, based in London and Munich, and will also work with Seven.One’s acquisitions and marketing teams.

Schulze started his career in production before joining Seven.One Studios International in 2010 as a sales coordinator. He has since risen through the ranks to become, most recently, VP, sales responsible for the German- and French-speaking territories and Benelux.

He will report to Martin Metzger, chief operating officer of Seven.One Studios and MD of Seven.One Studios International.

Metzger said: “This is a very well-deserved appointment. Tobi is a talented and experienced sales executive with a wealth of knowledge about the international formats and scripted businesses. A tough but fair dealmaker, he has been instrumental in helping to grow Seven.One Studios International and is ideally placed to lead the sales team.”

Schulze added: “I’m looking forward to working closely with Martin and the fantastic sales, acquisitions and marketing teams. We have a number of very strong brands in our slate which are working well for broadcasters and platforms, with more to come.”
