TLC goes on a menu mission

Discovery Networks International (DNI) is coproducing a new restaurant makeover series for its sister business TLC.

Mission Menu (12×30′) is due to premiere on female-skewing TLC in the US in October 2011 and is a copro between DNI and NuvoTV.

The series will follow three international chefs – Giuseppe Bologona, Diane DiMeo and Ricardo Cardona – as they use their experience to overhaul existing restaurant businesses and launch new ones.

The show is exec produced by Chris Bray for Bray Entertainment and Jon Sechrist for DNI and will also air on Discovery’s networks outside of the US. The company is in the process of rolling out TLC internationally.
