Tin Roof Media launches distribution label, appoints Alice Bennett-Leyh
UK television production group Tin Roof Media is launching a distribution label to increase and diversify revenue streams and build on a significant increase in coproduction output and growth in new titles over the past few years.

Tin Roof Media Distribution will manage relationships with current international distribution partners for its existing catalogue as well as new commissions, and will have responsibility for licensing rights directly for IP not currently represented by partners.
It will also increase group revenue through licensing the AVoD and FAST rights to its catalogue of content from Tin Roof Media group companies Blink Films and Outline Productions.
The Group has appointed Alice Bennett-Leyh to a newly created role of head of rights management and distribution. Reporting to group director of operations, Ulla Streib, Bennett-Leyh will manage relationships with existing and new third-party distributors, while building Tin Roof Media Distribution’s business.
Bennett-Leyh has worked in distribution and rights management for the past 16 years. Initially in an acquisitions role for distributors including NENT Studios’ UK content distribution business formerly known as DRG and in more recent years with UK factual broadcast indies in a commercial affairs and IP rights management capacity.
Blink Films and Outline Productions’ slate of factual programming for UK channels and international broadcasters and streamers includes Treasures Decoded, Ten Mistakes That Sank the Titanic, Monty Don’s Garden and Royals Declassified and Sarah Beeny’s Renovate Don’t Relocate and Michel Roux’s French Country Cooking.
This expansion of in-house distribution capabilities at Tin Roof Media is supported by a three-year international business development grant from The UK Global Screen Fund (UKGSF), financed by the UK Government’s Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and administered by the BFI.
