The Murder of Joanna Yeates among true crime docs picked up by Prime Video UK and Ireland

Woodcut two-parter Krays: London’s Gangsters

Amazon-owned streamer Prime Video in the UK and Ireland has acquired a package of 10 true crime documentaries from London-based distributor Sphere Abacus, including an investigation into an infamous murder case.

The Murder of Joanna Yeates (1×90’), produced by Woodcut Media, launches on April 22 and details how the case became a national obsession when the body of the Hampshire-born architect was found on Christmas Day 2010.

Other Woodcut docs in the package include The Crossbow Cannibal (1×90’), Krays: London’s Gangsters (2×45’), Murder in Concrete (2×45’), Confessions of a Female Serial Killer (1×90’) and Murdered or Missing? (2×45’).

Additional factual titles picked up from Sphere Abacus include Surviving the Tunisia Beach Attack (1×90’, Yeti Television), Murderer Behind the Mask (2×45’, Wag Entertainment), The Facebook Honeytrap: Catching a Killer (1×90’, Middlechild Productions) and The Wimbledon Killer (2×60’, Blink Films).
