The CW Network boosts 2025 schedule with renewals, premieres and sports

All American is The CW Network’s biggest hit
The CW Network in the US has renewed several series, strengthening its 2025 programming slate, including drama All American, the enduring magic competition Penn & Teller: Fool Us and the historical drama The Chosen.
All American has been renewed for a 13-episode seventh season, set to premiere in 2025. The series, which is currently airing its sixth season with the finale scheduled for July 15, continues to be a top-performer for The CW, being the network’s most-watched series across both linear and digital platforms.
Produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros Television and CBS Studios, All American has a team of executive producers including Nkechi Okoro Carroll, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Jameal Turner, Mike Herro and David Strauss.
The magic-themed competition series Penn & Teller: Fool Us will return for its 11th season. The one-hour show, featuring the magic duo Penn & Teller, invites aspiring magicians to perform their best tricks in the hope of fooling the masters. It is created and executive produced by Penn Jillette, Teller, Peter Adam Golden, Andrew Golder and Lincoln Hiatt.
The Chosen, an independent production distributed by Lionsgate, will make its broadcast television debut on The CW with its fourth season, premiering Sunday, September 1. This series offers a multi-season, intimate portrayal of the life of Jesus. It started as a crowdsourced drama that has been available via streamers Netflix, Prime Video and Peacock.
Brad Schwartz, president of entertainment at The CW Network, said: “A strong fall is going to lead into an even stronger 2025 on The CW,” adding that these renewals, alongside the network’s sports and entertainment offerings, are set to drive significant viewership and engagement.
The CW’s 2025 programming will also feature popular sports content including NASCAR Xfinity Series, WWE NXT, ACC football and basketball, and Pac-12 football, along with other shows such as Wild Cards, Superman & Lois, The Librarians, Inside the NFL and Canadian drama Sullivan’s Crossing.
