TFX revives Adventure Line’s French version of How to Look Good Naked six years on

How to Look Good Naked first aired on the UK’s Channel 4

The French version of beauty format How to Look Good Naked (Comment être Belle toute nue) is returning to air after a six-year hiatus after new broadcaster TFX ordered the show from Banijay.

Banijay France-owned Adventure Line Productions (ALP) is returning to produce the series, which takes women on an emotional journey to develop self-confidence and boost their self-esteem.

The format is based on the UK original, which ran from 2006 to 2011 on the UK’s Channel 4. That version was produced by Maverick Television and the format has been sold into more than 50 countries.

TFX, formerly NT1, is a TF1-owned channel that changed name in 2018 and is aimed at young adults. Its revival of How to Look Good will feature Influencer Zak Khchaï helping women learn to love the way they look, with and without clothes, no matter their body shape.

“It’s the perfect time to bring this format back to France and show a new generation of viewers how to embrace their bodies and love the way they look,” said ALP CEO Alexia Laroche-Joubert.

“Social media has exploded since we last produced Comment être Belle toute nue, with a constant bombardment of images to knock people’s confidence. With this new version, we’ll be championing body positivity and look forward to celebrating every shape and size out there.”
