Televisa novela picked up in Spain

Argentinian teen telenovela Consentidos will air in Spain this month after a licensing deal was sealed by the distribution arm of Mexico’s Televisa.

Disney Channel will air the show in Spain, stripped through the week at 21.00 from April 11. Spain’s Elastic Rights will also launch a merchandising plan for the 150-part show.

Produced by Ideas del Sur and distributed by Grupo Televisa, Consentidos first aired in Argentina on Canal 13 last year. In Italy, it debuted in February 2011 on Mediaset’s channel Boing, titled Incorreggibili.

The telenovela is aimed at children age six to 12 and their families, and has also aired on Disney Channel for Latin America. It was developed by the same team behind the hit series Patito Feo.
