TCL’s Chris Regina talks connected TV originals and tapping into AI

Chris Regina joined TCL last year to spearhead the Chinese connected TV giant’s content operations in North America.

The exec, who was previously the director of drama series development at Netflix has a remit to grow the company’s existing FAST and AVoD business and build out an original content strategy that leans into artificial intelligence.

Regina spoke with Jordan Pinto about the company’s recently launched streamer, TCLtv+, and how sister division TCLtv+ Studios will supply content to it, working with third parties and bridging the gap between tech and entertainment with the use of AI.
