Taylor Drew sells Sofi, Olly into UK

Taylor Drew Productions has sold two of its original preschool 3D animated shows, Sofi On Safari and Olly The Little White Van, to a UK broadcaster.

Terrestrial broadcaster GMTV has picked up season one of Sofi On Safari (26×10′) and seasons one and two of Olly The Little White Van (52×5′), both of which were produced in high definition CGI.

The broadcaster will air the series within its Fluffy Club block, which broadcasts at weekends on GMTV from 06.00 to 07.25 and simulcasts on the CiTV channel. The Fluffy Club also broadcasts on ITV4 weekdays from 08.40 to 09.25.

The deal was concluded by GMTV executive producer Sue Bowyer, Taylor Drew CEO Nigel Taylor and GMTV acquisitions and scheduling manager Mark Francis.

Taylor Drew has the worldwide TV, licensing, home entertainment and publishing rights to Sofi, as well as TV, home entertainment and publishing rights to Olly.
