Target founder Rayson exits

Alison Rayson, the founder of UK-based Target Entertainment, is leaving the company and handing over the reins to a former ITV and FremantleMedia exec.

Rayson will step down from her position as CEO, with Emmanuelle Namiech joining the rights management firm as MD.

Rayson’s departure comes 13 years after she founded the London-based firm, which was last year acquired by Metronome Group. She will continue to work with Target on “specific projects” but has not announced any further future plans.

Namiech – who spent a decade with ITV – joins Target on November 7 after a year as FremantleMedia Enterprises’ senior VP of global content.
