Talos Films to expose Hammer family secrets

US prodco Talos Films has signed an exclusive deal with actor Armie Hammer’s aunt Casey Hammer to produce a limited documentary series about the notorious family.

The series will detail the rise and fall of one of the US’s most powerful families, its dark secrets and scandals.

Casey Hammer, author of Surviving My Birthright, reveals the inside story of the Hammer family, based on a history of debauchery, deceit, addiction, corruption, sexual abuse and murder.

Elli Hakami and Julian P Hobbs, co-founders of Talos Films, said: “The Hammer family history is like [HBO satirical drama] Succession on steroids. A dysfunctional dynasty with its male characters exhibiting all the devastating consequences of privilege gone wild.
