Synchronicity, Big Light collaborate on Blue Mountain

NEWS BRIEF: Glasgow-based indie Synchronicity Films (MayFlies) and Frank Spotnitz’s London-based prodco Big Light Productions (The Man in the High Castle) are to coproduce Scottish neo-Western drama Blue Mountain.

Written by Anita Vettesse (Grantchester) and filmed in the Highlands, it follows multiple families locked in escalating conflict as they fight to hold onto their land and legacy, threatened by ruthless developers and long-buried secrets. Casting and distribution partners will be announced at a later date.
