Glimsdal, who will also occasionally work on the film and TV company’s international acquisitions slate, will join the firm on November 1 after over a decade with TrustNordisk.

The exec previously held roles on the international sales team at TrustNordisk in Denmark, where she was a sales manager and responsible for incoming projects, scripts and development as project manager.

Based at SF Studios’ Copenhagen office, Glimsdal will report to Fredrik Warstedt, executive VP of acquisitions and licensing at SF Studios, and work with Yaba Holst, head of Nordic acquisitions.

“I am convinced that her background and experience combined with her personality will be a great contribution in our work to develop more screenplays, stories and ideas in our ambition to be involved in even more films and TV series in the Nordic countries,” said Warstedt.

SF Studios, founded in 1919, is one of the world’s oldest film companies and is part of Nordic media company Bonnier. It has its head office in Stockholm and subsidiaries in Oslo, Copenhagen, Helsinki and London.
