Super RTL, Hop join Pikwik Pack

Guru Studio’s True & the Rainbow Kingdom

MIPCOM: Super RTL in Germany and Hop in Israel are among the international channels to have picked up preschool series Pikwik Pack and Emmy-nominated True & the Rainbow Kingdom.

Children’s content producer Guru Studio has signed off on a raft of deals for the shows as Mipcom Online+ continues digitally this week.

Pikwik Pack is heading to Super RTL (Germany), Canal Panda (Portugal), HOP (Israel) and Minimini+ (Poland). The 52×11’ series has been previously acquired by Disney Junior (US, Australia/New Zealand, Korea and India), Hulu (US) and Treehouse (Canada).

Meanwhile, True & the Rainbow Kingdom (32×11’ plus specials) has been acquired by buyers including TVP ABC (Poland), 9Go! (Australia) and AFN (US Military). After previously picking up seasons one and two, HOP (Israel) and Star Channel (Greece) have also bagged S3-4, with HOP also signing up as the L&M agent in Israel for the series.

Along with Pikwik Pack and True & the Rainbow Kingdom, Guru Studio’s line-up of originals includes two-time Emmy-nominated series Justin Time (74×11’) and its newest original series Big Blue (52×11’).

Earlier this month, Guru Studios sold 2D animation Big Blue to ABC Me in Australia and CTC Kids in Russia.
