Super Channel, Quebecor Content attend Cineflix’s Summer Qamp

Summer Qamp focuses on the LGBTQIA2S+ camp in Alberta

Super Channel in English Canada and Quebecor Content in Quebec have picked up Cineflix Productions’ feature documentary Summer Qamp.

Produced by Cineflix Productions in association with Hello Friend Media and Bright West Entertainment, the project follows campers and counsellors during a dynamic session of the Centre for Sexuality’s Camp fYrefly, an LGBTQIA2S+ summer camp in Alberta.

Filming is now underway on the doc, with Jen Markowitz directing and Michelle Mama producing.

Markowitz’s credits include The Fabulous Show with Fay and Fluffy for Prime Video, Call Me Mother for OUTtv, and Intervention Canada for A&E, while Mama’s include In the Making for CBC and Lost Car Rescue for History Channel.

Executive producers include JC Mills and Tanya Blake for Cineflix Productions, Lauren Heimer and Mia Weier for Hello Friend Media and Alex Lieberman for Bright West Entertainment, in addition to Mama.
