Sunny Bunnies shine on Channel 5

Shortform series Sunny Bunnies is aimed at 4-7s

Viacom-owned UK terrestrial Channel 5 has picked up three seasons of a Belarussian animation series for its Milkshake! Kids’ strand.

The deal for 78 episodes of Sunny Bunnies was sealed by the show’s distributor Media IM, the London-based sales house specialising in animation and family entertainment.

The show will debut on C5 in January having previously premiered in the UK via the Sky Kids app. Disney also previously picked up the show across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Sunny Bunnies is a shortform series aimed at four- to seven-year-olds and follows five beaming balls of light that cause mischief wherever they go.

The show is produced by Digital Light Studio in Belarus and made its debut on the Sunny Bunnies YouTube channel in 2016.
