STV Studios Drama options two books

NEWS BRIEF: Scottish production company STV Studios has optioned writer and comedian Bella Younger’s debut book The Accidental Influencer: How My Need to Get Likes Nearly Ruined My Life and Diary of a Drag Queen author Tom Rasmussen’s First Comes Love for TV adaptation.

Both adaptations will see the Scotland-based production company explore younger-skewing material through lived-experience stories. Younger and Rasmussen will work with STV on the adaptations, developed with STV’s head of drama development Claire Armspach and STV’s creative director of drama Sarah Brown.
