Studio 100 snaps up SeaBelievers

SeaBelievers is aimed at four- to seven-year-olds

Munich-based producer and distributor Studio 100 has acquired the global distribution rights, excluding Russia and CIS, to forthcoming CGI animated children’s series SeaBelievers.

Dubbed an ‘ecotainment’ show, SeaBelievers (52×11’) combines edutainment with real-life environmental issues.

Former Disney exec Paul Robinson is exec producing the series, with Mike de Seve showrunning. The show is produced by US-based Baboon Animation alongside Ireland’s Telegael and AnCartoon in China.

SeaBelievers is targeted at children aged four to seven and is set to be unveiled at this year’s Mipcom Rendezvous Cannes 2020.
