Studio 100, Cosmos-Maya copro for Gulli

Galactic Agency follows a team of extreme space repair specialists

Animation studios Cosmos-Maya and Studio 100 are coproducing a new 2D animation series for French broadcaster Gulli.

Galactic Agency (52×13’) centres on the adventures of a team of extreme repair specialists, who take on crazy missions aboard their spaceship Toaster, to fix things across the WashMash Galaxy.

The series was created by author Julie Chabrol and is produced by Paris-based Studio 100. Singaporean outfit Cosmos-Maya will lend its production expertise to the project, which begins production this year.

The adventure comedy is aimed at children aged six to nine and Studio 100 MD Katell France will exec produce.

“Galactic Agency has a very universal theme. Kids worldwide are fascinated with space travel and although the show originates in Europe, it will resonate very well with Asian sensibilities,” said Anish Mehta, CEO of Cosmos-Maya.
