Streamer Globoplay bound for Canada, Europe

Globoplay telenovela Orphans of a Nation

NEWS BRIEF: Globo-owned Brazilian SVoD service Globoplay will launch in Europe and Canada on October 14.

The streamer will offer telenovelas such as Orphans of a Nation plus other original series and Brazilian films, live sport and news. It also features seven linear channels: TV Globo, Multishow, GloboNews, GNT, VIVA, SporTV and Premiere. In total, Globoplay will be available to more than 20 countries, including Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal and the UK, having landed in the US last year.
