Spin-off drama Power Book II: Ghost

US network Starz has ordered a third instalment of its drama series Power Book II: Ghost.

Brett Mahoney will return as showrunner and executive producer for season three, with production slated to begin in 2022.

The show, produced by Lionsgate Television, is the first spin-off of the popular Power series, which ran for five seasons on Starz between 2014 and 2020.

Another spin-off, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, premiered in July and was previously renewed for a second season. Power Book IV: Force is also expected to launch next year.

All the series set in the Power universe are executive produced by Power creator and showrunner Courtney A Kemp through her production company End of Episode, Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson via G-Unit Film and Television and Mark Canton through Atmosphere Entertainment MM.
