Splendid launches Asian films FAST channel on Freevee

NEWS BRIEF: German distributor Splendid Films has linked with Asian counterpart Amasia to launch a FAST channel showcasing Asian movies on Amazon’s Freevee service.

Content on the channel, also called Amasia, includes Jackie Chan’s Police Story franchise as well as films from the IP Man series and highlights of Korean cinema such as Bittersweet Life, Train to Busan and Peninsula. Users in Germany can access Amazon Freevee via the Prime Video app or website and via a standalone app on Fire TV. A subscription is not required.
