Nixon Yau Lim will oversee the Scandinavian production and distribution group’s operations across Asia. He is credited with selling formats including Who Wants to be a Millionaire? into Asia during the late 1990s.

Fredrik af Malmborg, MD of group distribution arm Eccho Rights, told C21: “We are very excited about the recruitment and we think Nixon will do a very good job with our team. We are also grateful for all of Gary’s great work and wish him the best of luck at Keshet.”

Earlier this year the group hired former Imagina exec Barbora Susterova to run its Latin American business, based in Madrid.

Pudney is now heading up KI’s new Hong Kong-based Asian division, which was revealed yesterday.
