Southern Star picks up Always Greener

Australian distributor Southern Star Primetime has picked up distribution rights outside Australia to the new 22-part drama Always Greener.

The Seven Network Production broke Australian TV records when it premiered this week in its Sunday 19:30 slot. The show became the first locally-made drama series to top an average audience of 2m viewers.

Always Greener is the story of two families – one lives in the city; the other in the country. With both at major crossroads in their lives, they decide to swap houses.

The cast features John Howard (SeaChange), and Anne Tenney (A Country Practice, The Castle).

All international sales will be handled by Southern Star Sales which will be screening the show at MIPCOM in Cannes next month.
