Sony Pictures Television signs option to make 100 Choices in Thai waterpark

100 Choices is based on a format from FANY Studio

Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has entered into an option agreement with Thailand’s TV Thunder and Columbia Pictures’ Aquaverse to develop SPT’s entertainment format 100 Choices.

Aquaverse is a Columbia Pictures-themed waterpark in Thailand and the format will be adapted by SPT and TV Thunder, which will customise it specifically for a large-scale waterpark environment.

100 Choices is a comedy family format in which a group of contestants are faced with one question but 100 possible answers. If they can answer correctly, they’ll win a large cash prize. The question will be nearly impossible to answer, so the contestants will take on five physical challenges that will allow them to eliminate some of the 100 potential choices based on their performance.

Aquaverse, which is located in Bangsaray, about 90 minutes from Bangkok, will serve as the home of the production, providing the core setting for the show and also promoting the park.

100 Choices, based on a format created by Tokyo-based FANY Studio, was picked up by SPT after it was showcased at Asia TV Forum in 2023. SPT has the global distribution rights to the original format.
