Sony brings Baron to Germany

Sony Channel has picked up the German rights to French political drama Baron Noir from StudioCanal.

The broadcaster, operated by Sony Pictures Television Networks, will air the Canal+ Création Originale series across German-speaking territories next year.

The 8×60’ series is produced by French prodco Kwaï and follows a French politician in his pursuit for revenge against his political enemies.

Baron Noir has already been acquired by SBS Australia and Amazon Prime Video in the UK and Ireland.
