Smithsonian debuts on Korea’s KT Skylife

Factual cablenet Smithsonian Channel has launched in South Korea on the KT Skylife platform.

The news comes shortly after the joint venture between ViacomCBS and the Smithsonian Institute launched in Hong Kong as part of plans to expand in Asia.

The network is now available on Skylife’s Basic and BizOn Package, featuring titles including Sports Detectives, Coronavirus: Into the Red Zone, Aerial Cities and Air Warriors.

The channel’s global roll-out included launches in the UK, Ireland and Brazil last year.
