Sky Vision aligns with Back2back

The distribution wing of UK pay-TV platform BSkyB has signed a development deal with compatriot indie Back2back Productions.

Sky Vision and Back2back will co-develop factual programming with an eye toward the international market.

Recent Back2back shows include The Man Who Doesn’t Breathe (Discovery UK), Napoleon (BBC2), Jews on Bikes (Sky Atlantic), Shaun Ryder on UFOs (History) and My Phone Sex Secrets (Channel 4).

Sky Vision already handles international distribution for titles produced by the company for the Sky Arts channel including Ignition: Memory Palace (1×60’), which was recently acquired by Sky TV New Zealand.

Commenting on the latest deal, Sky Vision commercial director Connie Hodson said: “This kick-starts our ambition to work with other UK indies in a unique and tailored way, creating strategic collaborations that benefit all parties.”
