Sky NZ, ViacomCBS renew content pact

New Zealand satcaster Sky and ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group have renewed a multi-year deal making the latter’s content available to Sky and its SVoD service Neon.

The agreement covers content from ViacomCBS-owned CBS, The CW, Showtime and Paramount Television Studios.

It also makes Showtime programming and rights available exclusively on Sky channels and services, including Neon, Sky Go, Sky On Demand and free-to-air channel Prime.

Showtime is home to scripted series such as Billions, Ray Donovan, Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series, The Affair, Penny Dreadful and Dexter.

CBS and The CW, meanwhile, airs shows such as NCIS: New Orleans, FBI: Most Wanted, Charmed and Nancy Drew.
