Sky Kids commissions three originals, including Isadora Moon spin-off

Emerald is based on the children’s books by Harriet Muncaster

Sky Kids in the UK has commissioned three original series, including a spin-off to animated show Isadora Moon.

Set to air in 2025, the spin-off is based on Harriet Muncaster’s book series Emerald, about a mermaid princess who learns how to navigate new family experiences through unexpected challenges and adventures.

Muncaster is also the author of the Isadora Moon books, the TV adaptation of which premiered on Sky Kids last year.

The second new original is called Jaime’s Yoga Adventures and is a movement and mindfulness series featuring YouTuber Jaime Amor. In the show, Amor and a cast of lovable animal characters take viewers through stories, songs and yoga moves, aiming to boost emotional resilience and encourage physical movement.

Sky Kids’ third new original is an animated comedy series called Ten Little…Who?, which is based on Mike Brownlow and Simon Rickerty’s The Ten Little series of number-themed picture books.

Encouraging playfulness while learning about numbers, each episode will feature characters including elves, pirates and dinosaurs. The series will air in 2025, with a sneak preview for Christmas, Ten Little Elves, launching in December.

Meanwhile, series returning to Sky Kids include Awesome Animals & Mini Me, which will include a new exercise-themed segment that teaches kids how to move like creatures, season two of animated series 123 Number Squad! and season four of gaming show Let’s Game.
