Sky D, Orange get Masters of Sex

Sky Deutschland and French net Orange have picked up Masters of Sex from Sony Pictures Television (SPT).

The 12×60′ series follows the work of real-life gynaecologist William Masters and psychologist Virginia Johnson and explores how it helped spark the sexual revolution, bringing them widespread fame.

The show, from Round Two and Timberman/Beverly Productions in association with SPT, starts airing on US cablenet Showtime this week. It has already sold into 150 territories, along with SPT’s crime thriller The Blacklist, which starts on NBC in the US tonight.
