NEWS BRIEF: UK pay TV broadcaster Sky has unveiled a three-part series with magician Dynamo, launching the show with a Harry Houdini-style escape stunt in New York over the weekend.

Moments after the magician escaped from a burning car suspended above the New York City skyline, Sky revealed Dynamo Vs Houdini, a Sky Original series coming later this year. A 3×60’ coproduction between Banijay’s Shine TV & Seventeen17, the show was commissioned by Phil Edgar-Jones, executive director of unscripted originals.
