Sky Arts brings back celeb satire

UK satellite channel Sky Arts will air another hidden-camera show from celebrity satirist Alison Jackson this month.

Alison Jackson: Private Lies will air on Sunday February 26 at 21.30 on Sky Arts 1.

Jackson is a photographer who takes hidden-camera pictures and videos of celebrity lookalikes engaging in compromising behaviour. She became renowned for her spoof royal pictures at the time of last year’s royal wedding.

The royals, Simon Cowell, Barack Obama, Lady Gaga and Cheryl Cole will all feature in the latest programme.

UK indie October Films will produce the latest TV show in coproduction with Alison Jackson Studios.

James Hunt, channel director of Sky Arts, said: “We’ve seen an increasing appetite for satire with our audiences and Private Lies is a brilliantly funny commentary on celebrity culture.”
