Sinking Ship takes on The First Dinosaur movie

NEWS BRIEF: Canada’s Sinking Ship Entertainment (SSE’s) is in production on a family feature film that is part of its Dino Kids live-action and CGI franchise.

Slated for cinematic launch in fall 2026, The First Dinosaur, which will also stream on Bell Media’s SVoD service Crave in Canada, follows 12-year-old Dex as he goes on a road trip to discover which dinosaur was the first to live. SSE’s Dino Kids franchise includes series Dino Dan, Trek’s Adventures, Dino Dana and Dino Dex, as well as film Dino Dana the Movie.
