Singapore’s Mediacorp adds Eng Chin Chin, Sng Ren Yeong and Suhaimi Salleh to board

Singapore’s national broadcaster, Mediacorp, has appointed Eng Chin Chin, Sng Ren Yeong and Suhaimi Salleh to its board of directors.

The trio were appointed on November 17 ahead of former board directors Yap Chee Keong and Zainul Abidin Rasheed stepping down at Mediacorp’s annual general meeting today.

A former partner of KPMG Singapore, Eng Chin Chin currently serves on the board of Olam Agri Holdings, a subsidiary of food and agricultural business Olam Group, and is the chairperson of its audit and compliance committee and a member of its risk and market compliance committee.

Sng Ren Yeong is the MD of artificial intelligence (AI) strategy and solutions at Temasek and is responsible for the global investor’s AI venture building and investments.

Suhaimi Salleh is the founder and CEO of the SSA Group, companies that provides training and human capital development solutions, management consulting services and technology solutions.

Mediacorp chairman Niam Chiang Meng said of the appointments: “Chin Chin, Ren Yeong and Suhaimi are key additions to Mediacorp’s board, given their backgrounds as well as deep expertise and experience in their respective fields.”
